A conference supporting a one-state solution to the Israeli and Palestinian conflict is currently scheduled at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) on March 3 – 4. But there’s a huge wrinkle involved with its intent.
The groups supporting this conference, Justice for Palestine, the Palestine Caucus, the Arab Caucus, the Progressive Caucus, and the Association for Justice in the Middle East and are anti-Israel in nature and the speakers are too. Ali Abunimah, Laila Atshan, Sa’ed Atshan are some of the speakers who freely spout their hatred of Israel, Jews and anti-American views.
HKS must consider how Palestinians would feel if the tables were turned and a conference was held by Israelis to discuss whether Palestinians are “real people” are not.
