Catherine Ashton Deserves a Helen Thomas Retirement

Catherine Ashton Needs to Resign2 250x166 Catherine Ashton Deserves a Helen Thomas RetirementOver the years, Act For Israel has noticed an apparent bias in EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton’s language and policy positions in favor of Palestinian issues over the concerns of Israeli needs, sometimes this rhetoric has even closely resembled antisemitism. As the foreign policy chief for the EU, we believe it is imperative that the EU Foreign Policy Chief maintains impartiality and refrains from drawing moral equivalency between the murder of innocent Jewish schoolchildren in France and complex terrorist perpetuated conflicts.

We call on Ashton to apologize immediately to the friends and families of the victims of the Toulouse shooting, and to Jews worldwide who fight daily against antisemitic comments and religious hatred.

We also urge the EU to consider other candidates for the post should Ashton continue to show preference to one side of the complicated Israel-Palestinian conflict. In light of previous remarks published in The Economist describing Ashton as a virtual unknown with paltry political experience, having no foreign-policy background and never holding an elected office together with her recent questionable remarks and failure to remain impartial, we believe her glaring inexperience may severely jeopardize the EU’s ability to promote effective foreign policy in the Middle East region.

These actions and positions endanger the French Jewish community, the greater European Jewish community as well as Jewish communities worldwide. For all the above mentioned reasons Act For Israel respectfully requests a reevaluation of Ashton’s suitability for the position of EU Foreign Policy Chief.

Catherine Ashton Must Apologize & Resign

Ms. Ashton:

Over the years, Act For Israel has noticed an apparent bias in your language and policy positions in favor of Palestinian issues over the concerns of Israeli needs, sometimes this rhetoric has even closely resembled antisemitism. Cathrine Ashton, you do not speak for the uk, you are so bias towards israel, one would call you anti semetic.to compare the tragedy in france, with what goes on in gaza,is to me the final straw, you must retract your statement, and apolagise tothe families of the dreadfull attack, dont you think they are suffering enough!  these type of antisemetic remarks, from yourself have been a continual , we need friends,to stand with israel,we have enough critics.the british in the past, have caused enough grief, with deviding up the land of israel.the mandate given, entrusted by the league of nations,to britain,in line with the balfour declaration.as other zionists saw from the word of God,there would be a return of the jewish people,to there ancient homeland, and so they took that and gave as far as i know,at least seventy six percent of the land to the arab nations,to me its in direct line with the on going conflict today, for it should never have been devided in the first place. Britain has to apolagise to israel, for this act.In the bible we are warned by God,that he will deal with the nations, that devide up my land, and Britain is without doubt the top of the list. Now this has been pointed out, there is no need for ignorance. As a nation we must acknowledge the violation of lord balfours, vision, and Gods law,to put things right, then we will see this nation prosper.everything is well documented, the issue with the palestinian/jordanian land is a separate issue.the name palestine, was dubed as far back as the roman occupation, there has never been a nation called palestinian/land.it does not exsist. the people are made up of various nations,in the surrounding arab countries, yes they themselves have occupied the land for a long time, but the national homeland for the people God gave it to are back.they have enjured much these past sixty odd years. Now britain has the chance to put things right, for once,if it does not the Lord himself will deal with this nation.I have given you an oppatunity today,to put this forward to all concerned in westminster, and to whom else it concerns.                                 margaret bailey.
